Configuring a Motorola 2210 as a DSL bridge

The factory default mode for these devices is to use PPPoE. To change it to bridge mode, do the following:

1. Connect a computer up to the Ethernet port. Make sure your computer is set as a DHCP client (obtain address automatically)
2. From your browser, go to http://192.168.1.254
3. Click the Advanced link on the left side of the page
4. Click the PPP location link that will appear.
5. You may get prompted to enter the modem access code at the point. If so, you will find this code on a yellow sticker on the bottom of the modem.
6. Click the button that says “PPP is on the computer, gateway, or router” and then save changes.
