Adding an LMi email account in Outlook 2007

1. Click the Tools menu.  Select “Account Settings” then select “New”.

2. Ignore the top boxes.  Check the box that says “Manually configure server settings or additional server types” and click “Next” at the bottom.

3. Select “Internet Email” and click “Next”.

4. Enter your full name, email address, account type (usually you want to select POP, some people who need to access their email from multiple computers use IMAP), enter “mail.lmi.net” for both the incoming and outgoing server names, enter your full email address for the username, and the password provided. Check “Remember Password”. Click “Test Account Settings”.  If they complete successfully, click “Next” and “Finish”.
