Dialup ConfigurationNote that these instructions are for LMi.net dialup accounts in the San Francisco Bay Area. Please see Dialup section for information on nationwide roaming services. LMi.net uses generic Internet Protocol configuration techniques that use settings that are independent of any type of computer being used. We provide specific configuration instructions for the most popular computers, but you may be able to use this information to set up your computer if it is not listed below.
Generic Dialup SetupThe LMi.net dialup authorization system needs a valid username and password. Your dialup username is supplied to you when you open a new account. It is usually the front part of your email address, i.e. the username would be "someone" if the email address is "someone@lmi.net". When configuring your Internet dialup use these settings:
