Dial-Up Internet

All you need is a computer, a modem, and a phone line to get connected to the Internet. We support 56K modem technology, and we have nationwide numbers for your dialing convenience. We charge a flat rate for unlimited access, and our tech support is always free.

With your dial-up account you get a free POP mailbox (you@lmi.net), Usenet news access, and 25Mb of free Web space (http://users.lmi.net/you). We also offer shell access for you Unix fans.

We have both local (SF Bay Area) and nationwide dial-in numbers, and we offer a Webmail interface for mail retrieval via a browser.

System Requirements: We offer technical support for any Apple/Mac or Windows operating system released in the last ten years (minimum Mac OS 7.5.1 / Windows 95.) You must be using a modem with a minimum speed of 14.4bps. And, of course, you must have access to a standard telephone line. Most modern computers have all the software you need to get started, but if you need software, we can provide it for you. We can also tell you where to download popular Internet applications.

How Much Will It Cost? Dial-up Accounts are $20/month for unlimited access!

How do I sign up? Please download a copy of our Dialup service signup form, or give our Sales Department a call and we will get it to you via fax, carrier pigeon, or ethereal messenger.
